Always a favorite, Kantorei’s popular Christmas concerts provide a welcome respite from the hectic holiday preparations. This year we are featuring two pieces by Edwin Fissinger as part of our celebration of his birth centennial: Love Came Down at Christmas and Past Three O’Clock. In addition, you will hear lovely settings of Huron Carol, Rise Up, Shepherds, In Judah’s Land as well as some German and Austrian carols. As always, we will invite audience participation in several carols.

Kantorei is one of the Midwest’s premier a cappella choral ensembles. Our mission is to share our passion for lifelong singing and allow our voices to express the essence of music, with a focus on distinctive European choral literature.
